On December 19, 2024, we are going to be hosting Holton’s Holiday Hangout at the Ronald McDonald House next to Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.
For those who may not know or remember, December 19th marks the day in 2014 when Holton was tragically injured by his nanny. It’s also the day we chose to turn pain into purpose, founding Holton’s Heroes exactly one year later in 2015. We are thrilled to continue the tradition of making that day stand for something positive and bright—and not just a dark memory of something horrific.
Holton's Holiday Hangout will be a private celebration that is all about spreading joy to families who are staying at the RMH while their children receive critical medical care. These families often can’t step away from the hospital’s orbit—something we know about all too well—so we’re bringing a little magic directly to them, Holton's Heroes-style.
In our holiday-inspired curated gifting suite, parents and kids will have the opportunity to select toys, stuffed animals, and other treats that we’ve specially prepared for this occasion.
“It’s a chance to ease their burdens and spark some smiles, if only for a few hours—because every moment of joy matters.”
